Irvine, California: Telescent announces today that it plans to highlight its virtual Meet-Me-Room application of the G4 Network Topology Manager (G4 NTM) at the upcoming Optical Fiber Conference in San Diego from March 10 - 12th. The G4 NTM allows multi-tenant data centers to offer their customers faster deployment of services with diagnostic capabilities and computer accurate inventory of cross-connects. The G4 NTM is NEBS Level 3 certified and has been deployed in multiple locations carrying live traffic.
Telescent’s patented all-fiber NTM cross-connect switch utilizes a unique approach to optical patch panel automation by preserving all of the features of a manual patch panel (today’s industry work horse) including its large scalability to 1008 duplex ports, low optical loss (<0.5 dB), single mode and multimode signal handling, latched connections and affordable pricing, all while totally automating the switching process and eliminating human errors common in manual reconfigurations at Layer-0.
